Risk Modules General Info

1. Can I take Discover courses if I'm not a member of the AUMA?
NO. AUMA is currently only offering courses to AUMA Regular and Associate members.

2. How can I enroll in a course?
You can enroll online.
3. When can I access the course?
Access is granted once you are registered if you are eligible to take the course for free. Access will be granted once payment has been received for non Munix subscribers.
4. What if I cannot complete the course before my access expires?
Contact AUMA Administration at Discover. Extensions will be granted at the Administrator's discretion.
5. What if my employee drops out of a course before he/she completes it?
If the exam has not been written, you may request to have course access transferred to another employee. Contact Discover NOTE: Transfers and refunds are at the discretion of AUMA.
6. What is the Refund Policy?
Refunds will be issued at the discretion of AUMA providing that the course exam has not been written.
7. Can you complete/work on the e-course with a colleague?

Risk Modules Exam

1. What assistance is available to me when I write an online exam?
Exams are "closed book." You will not be able to access the course content after you start the exam. Evidence of cheating will result in immediate failure.
2. What do I have to get on the exam to pass the course?
You must pass the exam with at least 70% or better.
3. If I do not pass my risk module exam on the first try, is it possible to rewrite it?
Yes. You have three attempts to successfully complete the exam.
4. How long is the exam?
The exam for each module consists of 20 multiple choice questions, randomly computer generated from a bank of questions.
5. Does a participant receive a score on their exam?
YES. Exam feedback is provided on your Completion Status page.
6. How do I find my marks?

AMSC's Discover eLearning Program is competency based learning, simple pass/fail. However if you want to know your mark for a particular course, please follow these steps:

  • Sign In
  • Click on: My Account
  • Click on: Completion Status
  • Your mark out of 100 is displayed a small box for each attempt
  • The attempt box will be highlighted green for a passed attempt and red for a failed attempt
